Blast problems

I have a leatherman blast and the jaws have quitea bit of play in them now after much use but no real abuse. I have loaned them out and not checked to see what damamge had been done until later now the small flathead screwdriver is broken and the file is blunted .Do these problems warrant a warranty issue? I am ok with the broken screwdriver I can grind a new tip and I never really used the file ,so really the problem is the jaw play it bothers me to no end.Should this be covered by the warranty as they still work just wiggle a ton.

Call them, see what they have to say. Knowing Leatherman, I think they'd fix it for you.

Agreed, there's no harm in asking. I dropped off my Juice CS4 at their headquarters and asked them to sharpen the scissors, and they sent me an entirely new tool a week later!

I sent LM my much used Supertool 200 with loose jaws and they dropped in a new jaw set under warranty. I think they'll do the right thing.
