Blatant Chive/Scallion ripoff?

I'm not sure if anyone has seen this before, but I was browsing this dealer and noticed this in the new arrivals section. I can't believe how blatant of a copy this is, and it doesn't mention kershaw anywhere.

These have been around for over a decade. Bottom line is if there is a demand for a knife china is gonna copy it. Many feel it really hurts the company that they are copying but I dont really look at it that way. The types of people who buy those things arent really in the market or dont care enough about their knives to buy a good one anyhow so IMHO its not any business lost to them. What I dont condone however are knives that are direct copies and even have company logos and serial numbers as that is straight up fraud and the knives are clearly made for the intentions of defrauding an unknowing buyer. The sadest part of all of it is there is virtually no way to put an end to it. China has laws preventing these products from being made but they are ill enforced and most of the time that means not enforced at all. I think the things china is capable of are great. I just wish they would have a little more honor.

I agree that there's definitely nothing new about this, but this isn't ebay; it's a reputable knife retailer, which is why I was so surprised that they would carry it.

I know you are trying to help out but linking to a retailer's website selling counterfeit knives only gives them free advertising.

Well my only intention was for Thomas to see this so that Kershaw as a company could handle it. Oh well, I suppose I will post it on their facebook instead.

You know, Thomas W has private messages and you can always email Kershaw, probably info@kai-usa dot com is best. No need to give this place free advertising.

Posting it on their facebook serves the same purpose as posting it here, a PM or email is the best avenue.
