Finally got around to finishing my hunting knife for the year! Anyone else make themselves a new knife every year? My first hunter was made from Cru Forge V, then 1.2519, then CPM M4, this year it's Elmax!!!! Heat treated by Peter's to 63HRC. I chose the blaze orange for easy relocation when I set it down on the ground. My M4 has some beautiful walnut. Decided to go more practical with the G10 and Elmax. Has not been put to diamonds yet. Edge barely reflects light as it sits now, will shoot for a 7.5° back bevel and 15° micro. Anyway, had to show it off before it gets christened.
