Ok, what do you guys think?
I'm curious about leather and kydex (though I'm not exactly a fan) sheaths and your carry methods for this mean chopping animal.

I think leather is just about the only way to go. Dylan will chime in here. He gave it a shot with kydex. You'd need a baldric rig in leather. Putting this thing on your belt would be ludicrous.

Leather is definitely the way to go. I tried my damndest to make a kydex sheath that worked AND looked good for that big sucker. Everything I tried either looked like crap or didn't work. That blade shape is unfortunately the hardest shape in the world to make a kydex sheath for. Even the small Bow Legged Joes and Bow Legged Belt knives belong in leather. There's just some knives out there that were never meant to be in Kydex and the whole Bow Legged line is in that category. I would suggest having someone do you a badass baldric rig that is nothing but a sheath that covers the blade with a snap strap over the blade at the index finger groove and do a d-ring on both sides for a shoulder strap. That would be the way to go. It would look a lot better than kydex too.
