Bleach FRN?

Can FRN be bleached to remove the color, or at least some of it? Because I was thinking if I got an FRN-handled knife whose color I didn't care for, would I be able to take out the natural color and then dye it?

I have never heard of anyone taking the dye out of one, I think the pigment particles would be too embedded in the FRN material to get out. Although you could probably go from a lighter color to a darker no problem, I think you would have trouble making a dark color light

Bleach has never done anything to my FRN handles, but it is sure hard on the springs if you don't tear the knife apart first.
