Bleaching leather?

I have some leather that is a [/b]little[/b] darker than I want it. I'm trying to match a new piece to an old one. How can I lighten the darker leather?

Thanks!

My first and best suggestion is leather bleach from Tandy Leather or the Leather Factory. There's nothing like the right tool for the right job. Before I found out about that, I had some limited success with hydrogen peroxide. DO NOT use Clorox! There are some kitchen sink cleaners (the spray on kind) that have acceptable dilutions, but they still tend to dry the leather. This wasn't a problem with the hydrogen peroxide.
Hope this helps.
