Hi people .
This one is a bleeding heart spike hawk ,Ive used the theme through out the project .
Steel is 30 mm torsion bar , squared , slit and drifted for the eye then forged to shape
I used copper for the inlays for the redish colours.
Leather wrap with heart stiched in and then buck stitched with thrills
copper cones , beads and bells .

Handle is spotted gum dyed with apple cyder vinegar and steel mix .
Thanks for your time .
Chris

Hello st8yd.
i decided to do the inlays in relief instead of dead flat
i prefer relief work myself too , glad you like
Thank you
Chris

Any recomendations on keeping the copper like that and preventing patina on it?

Hello st8dy,
Not realy mate i think the patina may add a bit to it and give the heart
a bit more colour .so its not a bad thing.

M67 Hi

Hi Zanuha
Yes you end up having to clean up two times once your inlay is set and shaped then you have to go and clean up around that takes a bit of time .
