Here is another 18 inch WWII blem. Very small crack on handle -- probably doesn't need any repair at all. A grind mark near back of blade right side which can be polished out in 15 minutes. Karda and chakma smaller than we make them today but okay. Scabbard and early version of HI superfrog pretty good. Blade is marked SN 148 and "made in Nepal" left side. Not a bad rig for $85.

Call or email if interested.

Thank God I've got to wash the clothes and prep the car to take off early in the morning and don't have time to hover over the keyboard ready to pounce when you post THE one.

I'm starting to see what this HIKV thing is about.

I really, really don't need this.

I hiked down to the river and back. I drove around. I'm having trouble concentrating. I'm gonna try an icebag on my head.

Uncle Bill. Do you think my lady friend would like this? Could she use it in the kitchen? Could she use it to cut the pills off sweaters? It is a sorta basic black, and would "go with" anything . . . .

I'm starting to wonder how she's gotten along without one for so long!

Chris: in case no one told you before, having a little case of HIKV is like being a little pregnant. VESEG
