Here is an excellent Gelbu Special made by Sanu but he did not bother to mark it. Another 10 out of 10 rig with a small crack in the handle. The finish of this khukuri is remarkable -- magic stone at work!

Use ten cents worth of epoxy and take ten minutes and convert this into a khukuri that will do hard work for 50 or 100 years and never stutter. It is a beautiful knife and you can get it for $50 off regular at a price of $100 even and we will pay shipping.

What are the stats on this knife, as in overall length, blade length, thickness and weight? Is it typical of the Gelbu special?

Heck, I can meet you somewhere in town and you can check it out for yourself, if you'd like.

I still say you, Robert Lefebvre (from Madison) & I ought to get together for lunch sometime. We can all wear our biggest khukuris on our belts when we walk into the restaurant so that we'll recognize each other.

I make it down to Huntsville every so often. I'm going to be down there on an audit in Sept.
