I sure am glad that GH had its "clearance sale." The WW II that I got represents the best $35 that I ever spent. To be sure, the handle is not going to win any beauty awards; but, regardless, the khuk is obviously a quality knife. The blade is perfect, and with just a little work, the handle will look almost as good. For you folks who missed it, do yourselves a favor and jump on the next opportunity to get a GH blem -- I guarantee that you'll get more than your money's worth.

Seriously, folks . . . the blowout won't happen but once a year, as I like to only send out the best khukuris I get, holding the rest in reserve.
The only Blem I didn't send out was the "Gonesailing Panawal" (older forumites know that story). That one was frankly unservicable (having a blade that had an edge that was not parallel with the spine!). Everytime you used it, you felt like something was grabbing your wrist and pulling it to the side.
