Hi,
This is my first (and I'm sure first of many future) post. I'm looking for opinions from you all. If you were presented with two identical knives for roughly the same price, but one was noted to be blemished but had a Sandvik 14C28N steel blade and the non blemished one had a blade of 14C28N stainless steel, which one would you pick?
Thanks for your replies!

Welcome. Huh?

Depends on what the blem is, if its a kershaw blem I'm save the money and take it. At the same price take the unblem incase of warranty issues. The two steels you listed are the same.

Those steels are identical, I would choose the non blem because to me, part of the cost of the knife is the warrantee, and I like to be reassured by having it available.

If I had the choice I would get the unblemished one so I can bask in its glory for a little bit. If I wanted to jump right in and use it as a beater immediately then I would go for the blemished one. Also with the blemished one I wouldn't feel sad if I did some cosmetic damage to it.
