Excellent 15" 18oz. Sirupati by Sher. Has definite "almost convex" edge. Good work by a very good kami. Grainlines in handle could stand a couple of drops of superglue just to make sure. At $75 delivered this rig is in the UBBB category.

14" 17oz. BDC by Bura. Perfect rig except -- you'll need a magnifying glass to see them but there are two or three fine hairline cracks in the edge. It popped a little when Bura was pouring water. You can barely see them and they will never develop into anything. Knife carries our usual lifetime guarantee just like everything we sell. It's an UBBB at $50 delivered.

17" 1.5lb WWII by Bura. An excellent example of the best all round khukuri we sell rendered by the Royal Kami. 3/4" epoxy fix crack in handle at bolster. Black epoxy fill brings the khukuri to perfect. At $50 delivered, just about cost, it's a definite UBBB

Another excellent Sirupati by Sher with all his usual features. 15" and 20oz. Ten minutes worth of rust at tip saves you $50. Take it home for $50 and get another UBBB

Heck of a price on that WWII, with such a small handle ding it is a great buy. I'm going for lunch now... if it's not gone when I get back, well...

I'm trying to resist that BDC... I'm holding out for a 10" though... I know I will probably end up buying a 14" too, but I can't spend my khuk money on this and miss the small one--it's so hard not to buy all of these!

What is it about these threads that make you want to post your personal buying torment? You guys probably don't care to hear any of this rambling!

My last khuk was a 10" BDC. I love it, it will make an excellent camp & trail knife. I haven't picked up a 14 incher because my BAS will get jealous.

mail sent on the BDC. I'll give her a good home... and sharpen those cracks right out. This one's gonna get some use!

Thanks, Mr.BadExample... You took it out of the picture... I was so tempted to order it, but I need to save up some money for a couple other folders, with a few khuks along the way, naturally.

Finally, a pic of the 14" BDC near a BAS (or, almost BAS - whatever).

You can see why I say the 14 " BDC feels almost as good as the BAS. It's shorter, but makes up for it in blade width. It's a heckuva camp knife, do-all, etc. Plus, it's absolutely gorgeous. Gotta love it. Congrats! What a deal!

Heheheh, come to papa. A new bluing practice victi... I mean participant.

Come on...someone needs to buy those Shers before I give in!

UB, Ill take the 15" Siru by Sher, one with the rust on it :D email on the way

Whew! Thanks Nismo...that's the one I was eyeballin'...

Had one in horn, Yvsa talked me out of it, got one now in wood, got it hidden in a cave nearby. Get either...you won't regret it!
