Last night about 6:00pm the Lord give me a blessing and a miracle all in one. My old plant supervisor calls me out of the blue and offers me a job doing the same thing I was doing before I got laid off. But for more money and on a different shift.
Sandi can still work at the school too.
Praise God!!!!
Like I said the Lord gave me a blessing and I am very grateful.

You wouldn't have gotten the call, and the offer if you weren't talented and conscientious, and reliable. People rarely re-hire someone who is not going to make them look good, or make their work-lives easier.

You EARNED the call, the job, and the Christmas gift from life.
 
I'm glad to hear it Terry.

Things are looking up on the job front on my family's side, too. Sis just got a job after 18 months out of work and Mom is expecting an offer after 6 months of unemployment.

Prayers said for Keith and the other folks here abouts who need jobs.

The Lord give me this job. There were plenty of others who could do this job, I was laid off in May and there are no jobs what so ever in this area.
For my old supervisor to pick me from all the other people who are qualified to do the work and to give me the same job I had but paying more money is definatly a gift from God!

It is always a joy to hear about something good happening to someone that deserves it.:D I am glad that good fortune has come your way. May you and yours continue to be so blessed.
 
That's great news Terry, your faith stood the test, and this is just one of the rewards. I hope you'll still have some free time to make scabbards, my old BAS and Pen Knife both are showing the signs of being loved too much.

Good news, Ter. Glad to hear it. But keep in mind God is more willing to help those who are more willing to help themselves.
