I was wanting to get one of these when I can afford it. Should I get it with a flat ground or scandi ground blade? I know that a flat ground blade sure cuts good, but don't know to much about the scandi. Any advice would be appreciated.

If it will mostly be used for wood I'd get the single bevel.

Mostly used for food and just everything ... flat ground.

You really can't go wrong either way. The BHK bushcrafter is one of the best bang for the buck woods knives that I have ever had the pleasure to use. In my case, I like the flat grind better though.

Yep. For the most part, Scandi grind is not good for much besides wood. If you want it for overall camp, the flat grind will be best.
