Thanks to this forum, I just freed up some funds from my other hobbies and placed an order for a Bravo 1 and a micarta Fallkniven F1. I really like to use knives in this size (obviously...)

This knife I found on KSF is absolutely calling to me!! I just like the overall build, robustness, handle shape, thick blade, etc.....

Here is the knife: http://www.knivesshipfree.com/Blind...-Green-Canvas-Micarta-w-Modern-Classic-Sheath

The only thing I'm not too keen on is the D2 steel, which I've heard is not as good as A2 in several areas. Also, I couldn't find any info or reviews on this knife. It looks like this is a KSF exclusive, so I'm not sure if it is really a custom knife by Blind Horse Knives or not...

Any info out there on this knife?? I don't know that any other blade has really caught my eye like this one. Not sure why, but I think I need it...:)

Thanks in advance!!

Sweet looking knife. I have a BHK, the bushcrafter and its made of O-1 steel and its a awesome knife for the money. D2 is great steel from what I hear, should be a heck of a knife.

I was just looking at that same knife.

As for D2, my edc folder is a BM Mini Grip in D2. Edge holding has been great, I strop it about twice a month, and I've never really had to resharpen it at all. I did get a small chip out of the blade when I hit a large staple in a box I was cutting down.

Derrick from KSF and Dan and L.T. from BHK just released this knife about a week ago.

KSF just became a BHK dealer with this knife.

I have many BHK knives and this one should be nice.

BHK has a very professional heat treat done on their blades.

They also have some of the most ergonomic handles out there.

If you buy it I'll bet that you'll use it more than the B1 or F1.

All of my BHK knives are among my absolute favorites and the guys that made that blade are really great people.

I think that you'll really like it.

Call L.T. and talk to him on the phone he is an amazing person and I'll stop there.

I'm pretty sure you will like this knife.

Just saw that KSF has this knife $25 off for Black Friday!! :D

I need to call and get the discount since I ordered it early this morning and didn't have the add posted yet.

i work for Dan at the shop in Cambridge and thoes KSF is the only place you can get that model
Good to know! Have you had a chance to handle this model? If so, how do you like it and how does it stack up with some of the other BHK knives in this size?

So would this knife be considered a Custom knife or a production knife??

i like it better than most of them since its flat ground its a good knife...D2 steel yeah i have "handled" most of them pun intended

I think this would be considered a production knife.

BHK designed them and made them exclusively for us.

They have a great feel in the hand and I am excited to carry them. We have a few more in the works. :)

Great to hear! This is my first D2 steel knife, but I hear great things about it - and I love flat grind knives.

It's killing me - I've had this knife sitting at home in the box (thanks to KSF's lightning fast shipping), but unfortunately I've been stuck in Canada for business. But...........I come home tomorrow!! It's going to be like Christmas..:D

Interesting... so will they be more BHK esclusive to your shop? Thanks for the great service BTW - love your shop!
