I see that Blind Horse Knives is dissolving? Shame. A few really cool models in their line.

My point in posting here though is, of all the 'mass produced' sheaths out there, I LOVE the blind horse knives ones. I've got a couple in a few different sizes. Some are just perfect fits for Fiddlebacks. the-knife-connection.com ships their fiddlebacks with BHK sheaths

Might want to grab one if you can...Might be the last chance to get one

The #9 sheath fits my bushfinger perfectly and It actually holds my Hunter really well too.

Anybody else have one of these? What numbers fit what models for you guys?

From what I understand, Dan's shop battle horse knives, was the one making the sheaths. It also appears they will continue to make them. Check out Battlehorse sheath biz on Facebook.

I currently have my Arete in a BHK #3 and it fits perfectly. My Bushcrafter is in a #9 which works but its a bit loose in that one, I can invert the knife in the sheath but a tiny shake will make it come out. Maybe a new #9 would fit a bit more snugly as the one I have has had a BHK bushcrafter in it that has a bit thicker handle than my FF Bushcrafter.

This is my Hunter in a #9 (until I get the rest of my sheath supplies and make one :))

I have a BHK #6A that my GNS came with. It's a bit long for the GNS for me personally, but it fits my Woodsman perfectly :)

#6 is the biggest, I think.

Not sure if it would fit a nessmuk.

Definitely too big for the Nessmuk...I'm still hunting a sheath for it. I have another sheath, from an inexpensive south-of-the-border knife company that as it turns out fits the four inch Fiddlebacks I have...but it's odd seeing a big bird on a sheath with a Fiddleback in it...

I'll probably end up making a sheath for the nessmuk. I like a cross draw for my knives anyway...

I just tried my Kephart in my #9 and it fits fine. I carry my Hunter in the 9. The Hunter handle is slightly larger so it's a bit stretched for the Kephart handle. The Kephart sits a little deeper than the Hunter as a result. I'm sure a new #9 sheath that hasn't been stretched would be perfect for a Kephart.

The rivets are the only reason I don't like them. I received a brand new Fiddleback in mine from a dealer & as soon as I pulled it out there were scratches already on the blade.

One of the things I really like about the sheath makers on the Fiddleback forum is they don't seem to use rivets.

Rivets are fine if they are countersunk properly. What I dislike about BHK sheaths is the single thin welt that allows knives to slice right through the top of the sheath. I've had several people complain about that, and that is how I received my Woodcrafter straight from them as well. I was a bit ticked about that and the customer service, or lack thereof I should say, is why I spend my money with Andy and Dylan now.
