I'm trying to decide between the VG-10 F1 and Saber grind Woodsman Pro in O1.
Looks like these 2 knives are similar in their intended uses and overall design.
I'd like some feedback on these 2 knives in all areas:
- comfort
- usability
- ease of sharpening
- blade grind
- sheath
- quality/fit and finish
- warranty
- positives and negatives
You get the idea.
Looks like the F1 can be had for a little less $, but that isn't my main concern.
I just want an all around camp/hiking knife
Thanks all,
Lenny

I don't have the F1 to compare it to but the woodsman pro is a great knife. BHK does a real good job with their O1, sharpens up real easy and holds the edge well. The sheath is well made but I'm not a huge fan of the dangler, I haven't cut it off yet but I'm leaning towards it. I can't comment on the warranty because I have had no problems with the knife but I met Dan and L.T. at a gun show and they seem like pretty good, down to earth guys.

I own both, like them too. My woodsman pro has maple handle and it feel more hefty and solid. The F-1 lighter.
Both can be sharpened easily.

If it were my money, I would go with the BHK. While the F1 is a good knife, it lacks soul IMO. Not a knock on its capabilities, but why go with a black rubber handle when micarta or wood is available.

I actually prefer the F1. I find VG10 from Fallkniven to be better for my uses than BHK's O1. It tends to be a bit soft to me. I prefer the handle ergonomics of the Woodsman Pro, though.
