The Frontier First Patch Knife with elk shed handle has grabbed my attention. Does anybody have any experience with this model or any BHK model? How is dealing with the company?

Thanks

I love their knives. I have the large and small work horse knives as well as the bushcrafter and tiger knapp. I love them all!

I'm not sure about the steel on the patch knife. I'm sure others will be along shortly to give you the low down on that type of steel and it's toughness etc.

I have both the BHk and the Frontier First patch knives. I'd be hard pressed to tell you where you could find a better knife for the buck. And I certainly would not be able to pick one as the better.

Like so many of the knifemakers we encounter in our hobby/mania, L.T. and Dan are great folks. They are passionate about their knives and care about the people who use them. You simply can't go wrong with .

GREAT company, I cannot recommend them enough really. I was actually out today with my Bushcrafter that they make and took a few photos, I'll attach them below. I have a patch knife on my list for the blade I get from BHK myself, not sure on handle material yet though.

They are super to deal with, simply great people. They do have an active forum on, um, another knife forum :D if you want to take some more looks or ask questions.

I personally love the bushcrafter and maybe when I have more time I would love to post up a full review in the reviews section, we shall see. Great blade, very comfortable and a great deal for what they charge that is for sure. Comes with a nice JRE sheath too!

I have a large workhorse and it is a wonderful knife. I bought it from L.T. at a gun show in Virginia. He and his partner do quite a lot of shows. He is a great guy.

I've read nothing but good stuff about BHK.

I'll be looking for that review too dblagent. The bushcrafter looks awesome.

I have a Bushcrafter and a Patch Knife. Both are TOP quality.
