Wondering what the consensus is on Blind Horse Knives? They seem like a really nice knife maker.

No personal experience, but I have heard good things about their Tiger Knapp and some other designs. The Batwing looks like a cool little cutter! I've had my eye on a number of their blades for a while...

I have a BHK Patch Knife. The fit and finish is very good, the carbon steel sharpens up well and the sheath is better than it should be for a $50 knife. BHK maintains their own manufacturer forum elsewhere on the web.

I've met the owners and purchased a few of their knives. Great guys that know what they're talking about. The knives are well made and are a GREAT deal for the money. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

I met one of the owners at a gun show in virginia walked by every day and chatted with him a bit. It was the first gunshow i had ever been at and i had just turned 21 so i ended up buying two guns in two days. when it came time to make a knife purchase i was almost broke so i only had enough for the knife and no sheath. LT threw in a sheath for free because he felt i was passionate about cutlery. I WILL BE A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE. Ive been extremley happy with my purchase and when i have the scrath i will buy a few more of their knives. Rock solid knives built by rock solid people  i just cant tell you how impressed i was by blind horse knives.

I have a number of their knives, matched set of bushcrafter/bushbaby, patch knife, small tiger knapp and i am currently waiting on a pathfinder knife. Great company, the owners are great to deal with and they make awesome knives. If you are really concerned give L.T or Dan a call and ask them any questions you may have.

I do a little work with Blind Horse Knives and we are looking into putting a forum up here on Blade forums. With any luck we will be well received. Thanks for the great comments.

they are awesome. call and talk to them lol more than likely LT co owner will answer the phone and talk with you. i have a custom hunting set up that they are working on right now. one of the bushcrafter's completely custom from how they normally make them and a patch knife also all exactly how i wanted it. then a custom piggy back sheath and he knew exactly what i was talking about and how i wanted it when i explained things and even for my custom set up ( all the knives are custom but still) it was the same price. awesome to deal with. and i know a couple ppl who have thier scandi out and its awesome in the bush. i hope to talk to them tomorrow at the 1500 gun and knife show in indy

I have a Bushcrafter from them. It is a great knife and I really like it, also all of my emails were answered by LT who was great to deal with and was very quick with his responses.

Never met Dan, but LT Wright is one of the nicest guys you'd ever want to meet, and knows his stuff. Met him at a very small local MD show, and at the Chesapeake Knife Show (another small, but not VERY small, show ;)). I've had their bushcrafter, workhorse, small workhorse, custom workhorse etc. Very well made working knives. Ordered a scatty crafter.

Great company and LT is a "Good Guy". Responsive to communication and quick to ship as promised.

I own 3 BHKs, and the quality is there to back up their promises. They could probably charge another 25-50% more for their knives, especially since there is a lot of talk about their knives, but they don't.

For the life of me, I can't figure out how they get such a high grade of tiger maple for their reasonably-priced knives!

I can say that exact same thing about Dan:thumbup: He is a very cool kat!

I have owned 3 or 4 of their knives, all have been fantastic. Their fit and finish and quality of work is far beyond their price point:thumbup:
