The PLSK 2 (as described by Blind Horse)
This is a smaller version of the PLSK 1. What we have done in conjunction with Dave Canterbury of WildernessOutfittersArchery.com - the home of The Pathfinder School, is build a smaller version of the PLSK 1. Over all length is 8 3/8", blade length is 3 7/8", blade width is1 1/4" with a 4" handle. We are using 3/16" 01 steel on these, and we squared off the back of the spine for use with your favorite ferro rod. The PLSK 2 does not have the file work on the back of the spine as does the PLSK 1. The sheath that is standard is now leather. We also have stayed with the tried and true bead blasted green Micarta scales with the large fish eye bolts and epoxy back up. She's a sturdy companion to the PLSK 1, believe it!
