Hey guys,

up for sale/trade is a BHK apprentice's special. I picked up this knife thinking I'd like a fixed blade/neck knife, but this one's a little to thick/heavy for my tastes.

An excellent knife regardless!!!

It's 3/16" thick made with 4140 sawmill blade. (I've heard some good things about this steel.) It's flat ground and comes with black micarta. Comes with a nice dangler sheath.

This is a very well made small fixed blade. Definitely meant to be a small workhorse!

never been used (besides to cut some paper, and one apple.) No rusting or pitting or anything. Still looks the same way i got it. One picture makes the blade look bent/curved. It's not.

$50 plus shipping?

Looking for a couple things. In this order.

Cold steel trailmaster. I will add for this trade

Any other nice fixed blades. 3-6 inches blade length. I loooove scandi stuff. A nice scandi blade like a mora #2 would be most excellent :)

Bushcraft knives in general. I like scandi or convex grinds. Will add if it's nice.

Rat Izula (don't want one with the "esee" logo.)

Thanks for looking. I don't have any feedback here yet, however I do have feedback on other hobby sites if interested, and we can talk on the phone to sort out a deal if you'd like.

Thanks,
-Richard.

Would you happen to have the specs on the blade, such as weight, blade length, and overall length?

After a quick measurement and scale....

Blade cutting length: 2 1/2 inches.

Total length: Exactly 6 and 1/2 inches as well.

3.3 ounces.

The balance is right in the middle of the knife which feels nice as well.
