Blister Pack?

I have heard that all SOG Knives will be in Blister Packs (hang pack)? Is this true? I sure hope not. As they will not fit on our shelfs in our display case. And our customers will not be able to hold and appreciate the action of your Arch-Lock, for just one thing we love about SOG Knives.

we are in the process of updating our packaging. depending on the knife it will come one of two ways.

one being a blister type box that will hang on a peg, however you can open the packaging and pull the knife out for demonstration with out destroying the packaging.

the other option and used for all but 2 of our arc-lcok skus will be a nice paper box that is similar to a watch box.
 
Setting a knife on glass with no box does not work. I have been doing this for over 30 years, I know. I do not use hang pegs. They just don't work in a small brick & mortar store. How can I open the blister packs and then set them on a glass shelf to get pushed around by other knives in boxes like CRKT and others. The blister pack gets lost, which knife goes with which blister pack, where did I put the blister pack for that knife. I guess I will not carry those in blister packs. I don't carry some brand because all of their knife come in blister pack. I guess I am just old fashioned.
