Dang, this knife feels so good in hand, definitely a great all-rounder. I had high expectations for this blade, and it has met them. Can't say enough about the grind on this thing, strong convex and hair popping.:)
 
Yeah, this just feel great in the hand. I had a SAR4 and it just did not feel right. But this one sure does...
 
the handle is fairly large,i think thats why some people didnt like the sar4.but on the sar 8 it feels just right!!and its very nicely balanced.id say better than the nmsfno[due to the slightly thinner stock.]and its absolutely razor sharp!!perfect convex grind!!thanks jerry for a killer all-around blade.

I gotta agree with everything you say reddawn, knife balances perfectly, right at the talon hole, and the grind is BEAUTIFUL:thumbup:
 
That is good. I like big handles:thumbup: Nothing worse than getting a tight grip and squeezing down mostly on your own hand.
