The scales are some amazing vintage micro-fine canvas laminate I got from Geoff Hague. Do yourself a favour and check him out on Instagram @hagueknives . BTW, the weave pattern is not really visible to the naked eye, only on magnified and cropped images do you see it, looks, feels, and works like bone/ivory, lovely IMO.

I made some pivot screw collars from titanium sheet and heat coloured the stainless, hardened screws. The liners are anodised titanium and the mark has some gold plating in it.
