Blood moon !!!

Hey did anyone see the BLOOD MOON last night??? I woke up about 0245 ADT and thought about the eclipse so grabbed the camera not knowing I would even be able to see it cause of the lay of the land around my house. Well I did see it and popped this pic with my little digital. Not very clear but was cool none the less. First blood moon I've even seen:cool:

 
Very nice! Cool pic too! We just had a great view of the moon it was clear here.....but yours is by far better!
 
I saw it at about 6am here, was waiting all night for it. Pretty cool, kinda ominous looking.
 
It looks a bit more impressive if you blow it up a bit ...

yah i saw it and watched it for almost an hour, lots of energy that night...i cant sleep much during full moons..
 
I didn't get a chance to get out and see it, but all the pictures I've seen of it have been beautiful. Great shot!
 
Hey RussMo, yep, my wife came out with a set of bino's for a look-see, which I did borrow for a bit, but I thought I would take the time to chuck a camera on a tripod and snap off a few shots while it lasted.

You know what hit me when I saw your shot? Kind of obvious but it made me smile anyway, the light in your photo is pretty similar but 180 degrees rotated so we were standing on almost directly opposite sides of the world both looking up at the same thing at the same time and being impressed by it.

Brother that is exactly what I told my wife!!! The 180' out as we were earth opposite. Yea that is funny but real cool!!! Again GREAT pic.

Looks upside down in comparison to sandgrouper's photo, and not nearly as clear. I wish I had a better camera...
