I was blessed to have been given some deer meat from a close friend of mine, so I took one of my custom Backwoods blades and prepped the meat for the freezer and the crock pot. By the way, the blade worked like a charm on the meat. The meat was stripped from the bone effortlessly and it cut in thick or thin slices/chunks. For the owners of Bill's awesome pieces of art, don't be afraid to baptize them in deer blood this season....Backwoods Custom Knives ROCKS !!! Thanks Bill;)

Marc I think you and I have the same taste in knives brother!!!!

Mike,
Ain't that the dang truth!!! I'm sure the majority of folks would want to use a much smaller blade for detailed work, but I enjoy taking my bigger blades and takin' care of business.

That was my damn deer too!!! Lmao, for real

It truly has it's rewards living just 15 miles from Bill's shop (from my driveway in Kentucky to Bill's shop in Ohio). In fact, I may have to file Ohio taxes due to all the time I'm hangin' out at Bill's shop...:D
