Just have to say this thing is a blast! Bought it fot my son for Christmas and that's all we have been playing with : )

Glad you enjoy yours. Ive been figuring out a way to make more durable darts, so the cones will stay on better. Great for squirrels, rats, racoons etc. especially w/ ammo bein' so scarce!

The CS blowgun is a blast. It's head and shoulders above the ones we bought from the back of magazines decades ago. I picked up a couple several years ago and my son and I love them. We use the bamboo darts in the yard with an airgun foam target and it's a perfect match. Take care.

Whats goin' on jdk1? Good to hear from you....

Has anyone ever thought/tried out a .40 cal wire dart refitted to the 625 Mag cones...I bet that joker would "zzzzzipppp". Velocity would be "gettin' on up", and those little wires are more durable than bamboo.

I spend more time stalking around than posting:) The CS blowguns hit hard! If I use the metal darts the penetration is too deep and sometimes they'll zip through something and the cone will pop off the end. The bamboo darts seem perfect for target practice because they lose speed quickly, are easy to find in the yard, and are very accurate. They're easy to fix if broken since they're just shishkabob skewers! As with the CS shovel, the CS blowgun is a must have for the money. That much fun for $20 is hard to find and it should work very well on small game. A lot of thought went into the design. Since they're stiff enough to be used as a hiking staff, CS includes a rubber ferrule (sp?) for the end. I use the pro-model and I don't think I could bend it without a vice. Take care.

I agree, and since a walking stick is something I am well aquainted with, that was a big draw for me as well. A rubber cane tip should fit the end nicely, and be nearly as quick to remove!
