Hello folks...I am thinking of buying my first Spyderco, and I really like the looks of the Blue Almite Walker...I can get one online for about $70 with s/h...but I usually don't buy a knife I haven't seen in person. Can some of you folks give me your honest opinions of this great looking knife?

It was my first Spyderco, and has some of the nicest fit and finish, and liner lock lockup I've ever seen on a folder. I love the little knife and it is one of the few I'd never sell. My only gripe is that the clip is positioned way too low, and leaves about a third of the knife sticking out of your pocket, which just isn't necessary on such a small blade. Other than that, you can't go wrong, and I doubt you'll be disappointed. The knife got me hooked on Spyderco.

It's happens to be one of my favourite Spydies as well. Fit and finish are very good on mine. It's not as heavy duty as some other knives of similar size, but I don't think it's intended to be, either. Love the feel in hand and think it looks awesome. Some day, maybe I'll be lucky enough to have one in CF....

I see them on ebay from time to time for around 70. there is one right now for 65.99 plus 4.75 shipping.

It was also my first Spyderco and I love it.

I'm not a fan of liner locks, which is why I sold my Walker. That and the clip sits way too low on the handle, making it ride really high out of your pocket.

Other than that, the F&F is very nice and the VG10 blade is very usable.

Unique, well made, good ergos, sharp as heck, typical Spyderco. It feels good just to open and close it, as it should. The clip is OK by me but I carry it inside the waistband. It feels nice and flat there and it's easy to grab. Oh you'll like it alright. Good first Spydie.
