Blue & Black G10 or Black & Blue G10

The pictures say more than words. Apples to Apples comparison, same handle shape, thickness and machining. Both were washed and dried the exact same way so that there is nothing other than perhaps lighting that can effect the look but this is pretty much what you see is what you get. Old SAR 8 vs newer SAR 6 blue handle comparison. I am curious what others think and why. If you don't care at all then that's fine too.

Do you prefer the Blue & Black G10 (handle on top) with Blue as the primary with a little bit of Black?

Or do you prefer Black & Blue G10 (handle on bottom) with Black as the primary with a little bit of Blue?

Rather than editing the first post and before/just in case somebody brings it up, this poll has absolutely nothing to do with any sort of financial gain for me.

What prompted the question is the newest batch appears to be the darker stuff and is offered on both the SAR 6 & the BOSS Jack from what I can see of Jerry's pics and the description of the options on the ordering page are worded differently depending on the color. This also gives some close up views of the dark one for people who can't see it clear enough in the pics of either of the recent offerings.

I prefer blue with black but the darker black with blue is ok--and it's the only version I currently have. That is what I ordered on my BJ LE and I'm hoping for the brighter blue. It's always come out of Busse both ways though. A SFNO I had was darker, as is the CG FBM I still have, but a FSH I had for a while was the brighter blue. BTW I would never get the blue for myself but my fiance loves it, so I do it for the INFI.

thanks for this post and review, have not paid attention to the difference of the dominance of the blue and black, i actually like the dominant black with a hint of the blue and voted the same.

I really like my primary blue and black G-10 handle, it stands out just enough when I set it down in the woods for easy location.

If I had to pick between those two options, I'd take the brighter (top) blue...

ditto.... like em both and it looks different on different blades.... but its a good point you brought up. Same point can be made for the many different pumpkin or black and red. some offerings unfortunately have nicer color then others. I am a big fan of blue as well.... 2nd for me to pumpkin. I also prefer the top one where there is equal parts of both color, rather then it mostly being mostly blue. Thx guys.

Ditto on that, and for other Black w/ other color G10, with black being the primary. I don't care for bright colors on handles but it does make more sense for field use if you have butterfingers.
