man, that's a really interesting one. I haven't seen one that looks like that before.

The blue and black together look almost grey. Thanks for sharing :)

I wish I could have that blue and black that thebrain has. Garth told me that they're taking more care now to make sure their G10 is more consistent, but I really like the less dramatic look of having less blue in the blue-black G10. I've never seen this with any other of their G10 colors either.

i personally like the looks of the ones where the blue is dominant, but where the pattern is very dramatic.

Blue dominant is blue/black g-10. The g-10 posted above by thebrain is black/blue g-10, which was predominant back in the day.

Oh man... Tim's a little busy with work. But I grabbed a few for you to see...

how much work was it to strip the gladius like that? I wanted a satin one, but i wasn't willing to pay the extra 900 to get one.

Tim did it in a day, I think... Paint thinner and friction... They do crazy things! If you are going to strip one and want some pointers, I'm sure he'll be back on when things slow down or later this week :)

So my name is Friction now ? :)

Tim did it at my house.
We soaked it in paint thinner gel that He or I got at HD it took about 15 or 30 min to bubble.
Then we scraped off the coating.
Scotch brightened it on my wheel and wallah ghetto satin finish :)
by no means is it satin like Busse does, I would call it more a competition finish.

I miss you guys by the way TNT

I don't own this one anymore, but it's a "BlackDiamond" DLC coated FBM bowie proto that I had done at the request of the Buyer. Luckily, since he never posted pix of it once received, I had the foresight to take a few for myself and the Forum before sending it.

I can't find a pic of this that I took, so I'm gonna have to borrow Jerry's from the Ganza I scored it from. :)

Ah! That's how he did it! I knew he used chemical help, just wasn't sure of the details :) I'm sure if Tim weren't being worked like a dog he'd have posted that.

We miss you too, Dave!!

I'm guessing that you've never seen my pic of the Skeleton Wardens??? :D

I'm still waiting on my first Busse, a tanker gray TGLB with blue/black g10 scales. I'll be sure to post a pic when it comes.
