The Lazer Etched Cursive "Prototype" on the blade leeds me to think it is genuine.
Reason:
Lazer etching machines cost huge dollars.
Also, from what I can see, the build quality is "spot on"; no gaps at bolsters/covers, spun/domed center pin, blade edges look even ... what I (personally) would expect from a high quality German knife company.
That looks like a real Solingen Bulldog. They are well made knives and likely have some collector value. I wouldn't put too much stock in the "Prototype" engraving, though. I've heard Jim Parker used to do entire runs of prototype knives.
