Blue bone Schrade?

I saw this posted for sale this morning. Does anyone know anything about it? I think it said that it was an #897. *shrug, who knew*

A lot of blue bone knives turned up in the WIP from Schrade's closure. Basically, there were two types, the rope jigged, and the peach seed jigged (I think those terms are correct). There has been a lot of speculation on these. Check this thread:

Hey Codger thanks for the link. As it turned out the listing ended without a sale. They wanted 50 bucks for it.

Depending on associated costs, that might not have been an outragous amount. Just the base production 897UH with Staglon delrin and plain bolsters had an MSRP of $39.45 2 1/2 years ago in 2004. As always, we, as individual collectors decide for ourselves the values of knives.
