The blue flavor (your thread title) was a sprint run of a few hundred pieces, which are long gone. You can find one or two on ebay for about $70 over MSRP.
I had one and sold it, but which I hadn't. I'm looking for a replacement, but don't want to pay $190.
There is a current sprint run of orange FFG Manix 2's, which you may still be able to get in on. You can google it. They are currently shipping. I am still waiting on mine.
I think he is referring to the Manix 2 with translucent blue handles.
It's online now! I was disappointed that it didn't come through in clear.I built too many "Visible V8" and "Phantom Mustang" kits when I was young, I guess.

Okay just so everyone knows what is going on. Yes there is a new Translucent Blue Manix 2 coming out in 2011. It is not being produced right now. It IS NOT a sprint run. It is an open production. They are not for sale anywhere because they don't exist yet. I contacted Spyderco and they said they can not give a production date as of yet but should be out sometime early to mid 2011.
Hope this helps.
It is not a Sprint run so when they do come out it should be easy to get.
There are a lot of cool knives being made for 2011 so get ready to spend some money.
Ooooooh.
Ok, thanks.
Guess I need a Spydie catalog!
