Okay, someone tell me my eyes are playing tricks. Is that a swap or a production model?

I could be wrong, but I believe he started with a white FRN handle. To dye a black handle blue would be like telling T.O. not to be a selfish headcase.:)

It's definitely a swap and it looks pretty cool, but personally I would never swap out G-10 for FRN. I'm really digging the color of the blue though.

That's an awesome Delica. Did you regrind it yourself, STi? I don't see the ubiquitous Krein Regrind stamp.

It's a White Combo edge delica dyed with G-10 Blade..Makes for a light slicer.

All FRN Delicas should be like this... only black.

I sold away my FRN Delicas because of the saber grind. But then, I got the G10, and this one I'm definetely keeping. Only downside to the G10/FFG is indeed the weight.

This knife, for those who appreciate FRN handles, should be just about perfect, color issues aside.

BTW, all clips on non-black Spydies should be polished.

I believe you may get at least half your wish. Sal has said there will be FFG FRN Delicas in the future. Just not sure about the black part, since he seems to want to dress them in some new colors. Of course, FFG FRN Delica + rebuild kit would still work. :D Still prefer the extra blade length, better ergos, and 50/50 choil of the FRN Stretch II, but to each his own.

Yes Paul, we know you like the Stretch 2. :p :D

That's what confused me initially, not seeing a Krein regrind stamp for the FFG blade, and knowing Sal had planned some FFG / FRN Delica's / Enduras in the near future. First thing I did was check the Spyderco site. :o
