I'm looking into getting either of these lubes for my knives. Which one do you prefer to use and why.
Also if you can recommend something that you feel is better than either of these please do so. :D

I use CRK grease. If its good enough for Chris Reeve its good enough for any knife out there. And also I like it because it seems to keep my knives smooth for much longer than oils, it's a more greasy texture to it. Like neosporne or something. Give it a try I'm sure you'll love it :)

I've used Tuf-Glide as a lubricant and rust preventative on guns and knives from Alaska to Africa with very good results

Depends on 'your' usage. Me? For pivots I prefer grease. For blade protection I prefer Marine Tuf-Coat or Tuf-Glide.

For lubrication purposes Nano-Oil works considerably better than Blue Lube and anything else i've tried (extensive personal experience), and from what i've read also better than Tuf-Glide.

alright, so i'm gonna check out this nano oil, and tuf-glide seems more preferred over bluelube. I don't want grease for my pivots as I feel that means I have to take it apart when it needs lubed or cleaned. I don't think grease will get me the result I'm looking for either. I like my knives to open and close freely especially on my compression and axis lock blades.
Thanks guys.

Edit: Went to nano-oil's site and wow that stuff is expensive! I'm sure a little goes a long way but I am going to try tuf-glide first and if I'm not satisfied I'll go for the nano-oil.

I bought a bottle of blue lube around the time I joined BF, still using the same bottle and it makes almost everything smooth as a benchmade while keeping dust and dirt at bay.
