These are a for a father and son, the Bowie has a 10 1/4 inch carbon damascus blade, 15 1/4 inches overall, blue mammoth ivory grips and mokume fittings. The camp knife Has about a 5 1/2 inch blade, 10 inches overall, the blade is of Mike Norris stainless damascus and the handle is of blue mammoth ivory and musk ox horn, the fittings are mokume. Please let me know what you think.

(edit) oops, my appologies Coop if you weren't ready for these to be posted.:o

That's a very impressive set Mark - no doubt to be long treasured by both father and son.

Mark, these were a pleasure to shoot. They just look great with the materials, and the added heat coloring in the blade is that pronounced.

Deceptively sharp all the way to the choil. My Band-Aid will attest. ;)

Mark's sheaths are beautifully form-fitted, with engaging patterns, and they complete the good looking package.

There are going to be two VERY 'Merry Christmas!' presents gifted this weekend. Lucky them :D

Exceptional work and both are beautiful imo.
Personally, I would prefer the Bowie blade without the heat coloring though.

And I too love the heat coloring. The bowie is my favorite but personally I do prefer a Bowie to have a double guard. Great pair though and they seem to be a departure from your usual hunter style.

Mark that is one beautiful set of knifes. Any one would be proud to own them. Terry

Thank you very much Coop, for all you do for me.

Thank you Kevin, Yes the blued blades are certainly a personal preference thing. I would not put them on every knife, it's a risky thing to do on a speck knife, in this case, no risk at all. Thanks again.

Thanks Murry, I will give the double guard a try on future bowies. Yes I am trying to broaden my scope and my appeal. At this point my main market is my hunters, I gotta keep them happy, and try to slide in something unusual from time to time. Some day I will be the master of my own destiny, and do what ever I wan't. Footlose and fancy free. :D:D
