This one completes my group for the OKCA show.

This has been a long time in the making. Mike Quesenberry and I did some horse trading a while back and I ended up with a small billet of his ladder damascus. Mike's pattern in this is so clean and tight. I love it.

Anyway here it is.

Ladder Damascus
8 1/2" overall, 4" of actual cutting edge
Tapered Tang
"Twisted Steel" filework all the way around the spine and butt end
Twist damascus bolsters made from a small chunk of twist from my good buddy Bruce Bingenheimer.
Bolsters are dovetailed and heat blued
Blue Mammoth ivory scales
24k gold plated screws

Outstanding work, I really like it. The blued bolsters really work well with the mammoth and gold hardware. The lines are very pleasing as well, everything flows together in an organic way.

To me that's the most labor intensive filework pattern there is, and hard to keep even. Excellent work all around!

John That is a sweet little knife I love he overall dark look of the knife Nice score on the damascus.
