Blue or Cutesy Periwinkle

Hello Everyone,

I am thinking of getting a pair of blue delicas (one serrated one plain) to add to my little collection of matter separators. Just one question...Do the new generation of Blue Delicas (w/ VG-10) have handles similar to the new blue rescue's handles? or do they have the icky light blue handles that I have seen on some older delicas?

Can anyone help me out?
To give a comparison..is the new blue delica a deeper blue like this one at bladeart: http://www.bladeart.com/production/spyderco/spyderco.htm or is it the lighter blue like this one at dirtcheapknives: http://www.dirtcheapknives.com/del4stanedbl.html ?? One is ats 55 and one is aus-6, but I have not seen a picture of a new VG-10 version.

Tell me if you know, my purchase is pending on account of this superficial information, after all

These pictures can be deceiving...but the ones I've seen in person, up close at my local shop are just like the dark ones shown on the Blade Art website; almost with a subtle purple hue it seems to me. These are the new, VG-10 models I am talking about.

I'm getting ready to buy one (or more) myself.

Based on my current inventory, if you have seen the handles on the original ATS-55 versions, you have seen the handles on the current VG-10 version....periwinkle sound about right. md
