I just placed a pre-order for a Blue Paramilitary 2 in M390 and am very excited to finally have one of these knives!
 
Nevermind found it at bento box. *****WARNING DEAL SPOT ALERT!!!!!!************ I got in trouble. I lost 10 points. Whatever you do don't say Bento box.

Good eye, Sir. I have been checking that site for months. As with luck, somethings can be met but can't be sought.
 
Would be awesome if shipping to Canada wasn't 49.99......I don't know how they get that number... Its like 13$ to ship flat rate priority...
 
Current questions I am asking myself is am I getting one or two? Don't I have one already? Ok, one or two?

I live in California where BBS sets up shop so I get hosed for another $15 for sales tax...
 
The great thing about the Para2 is if you want to spend the money, they give you a really nice knife here; and if you don't want to spend that much, the regular Para2 will do you just fine.
 
Hello......Never pre paid for a knife before. Love the blue G10/M390 combo. How accurate is the expected delivery date normally on something like this?
 
I'm not crazy about the aesthetic of the Para2, but I've heard nothing but good things about its performance, especially the M390 version. Does it grow on you? Would it be worth it to grab one of these coveted blues while I have the chance, if I'm still not entirely sure about the model? I'm more of a user than a collector and I'd rather not buy knives I'm not going to regularly carry, so it's kind of a tough choice.

Thoughts?

I bought one of these from the first run, my first PM2; definitely glad I picked one up. As you say, it has really grown on me. Now that everything's all broken in and tweaked to where I want it, it's very slick, smooth, and comfortable. I've since bought another in a different steel and have a third on order. It's very well-designed and a solid user. I don't know that I'd be down for another at $180, but I don't at all regret getting that first one.
 
I have one from the first run--have not used it yet. Mine happens to finest example of a Para 2 I've come across. Don't know if they are all going to be this good, but it's got perfect lock up, smoothness, detent, grind, everything. So much so that I've hesitated to use it. Can't bring myself to part with it either, even though I have other knives I prefer to EDC.
 
I've carried mine since they came out. M390 is easy to get stupid sharp and holds an edge as long as any steel I've used. I prefer this to the S90 or 20cp because it's so easy to sharpen.

I just grabbed 2. The CA tax kinda ruins it for me as well but if you've seen them on the aftermarket its still a way better deal. Im glad they did another run of them.
