Picked up this awesome Custom Shop satin Meaner (0.170" Tweener) not too long ago from a fellow Hog. The scales are MASSIVE!!! :D They measure a full inch thick!!!

It has the rare Blue/Red G10 (hand-shaped no less), which you don't see a lot of. I know Busse used this around 2007ish, and maybe just on Custom Shop pieces. Do you have any of this material? Pics of it??? Post them!!! :D

Here's mine:

Close-up of these HUGE scales! Love them, they fit my XXL hands SO nicely!:thumbup::thumbup:

Hoping to see some other pictures. I know they're out there! :p I've seen some fusion handles in this material, and a rope-cut Badger too. Hoping for good participation. ;)

They really are something else! Blood on water. Fire and ice.

First time I've ever seen Blue/Red G-10!
I think its gonna be kinda rare...

One of the BCS combos, blue/red G-10 and the old lighter Urban Grey coated FFFBM's (fat flat ground Fusion BM). Dates to around the same time as your Meaner, 2007-2008.

Long gone to a new home, no need to ask. Lmao ;)

Darn, was hoping to see more pics. :( I might have to google up the others I saw and add them. Come on guys, I know they're out there!!!

It's a bird('s beak), it's a plane (FFG), it's SuperBusse! Nice score on that rare superman G10!

I may be wrong it it appears to be a sabre grind

It is. Was that the diff between FF & FFF on these? Been so long, I'm getting hazy on the details of some models. :o
I think you are correct about the FFBM being a saber grind and the FFFBM being a flat grind, with both being fat. The FBM LE would be one example of a FFFBM; maybe LE blanks were used for other non-LE FFFBM knives.

By the way, getting old does not help the memory (I'm speaking from personal experience). ;):D
