Blue skies on Mars?

The pictures taken by the Mars rovers are not color pictures. They are all colorized to the best estimate of the planet's true color based on other observations, including the color reference instrument so cleverly discovered by the author of this ludicrous website. It is no secret that the photos have been manually colored.

I would guess that, if the picture on the website is actually one published by NASA, this item appears shades of red in that picture because the entire picture was probably colored the appropriate shade of red to make the surface look right. They had thousands of pictures of sand and rovers to color. I wouldn't be surprised if in at least one picture they didn't bother to color that arrow blue.

Besides, Mars' existence as a red planet predates robotic rovers and digital cameras. You can see it yourself from Earth with a good enough telescope.

I think it's rather cruel, debunking people's favourite conspiracy theories. ;) :)

Blue skies weren't the only thing NASA was trying to cover up. Check out these unretouched photos released by JPL.

Hooboy, that's not the half of it. Have any of you ever heard of Richard C. Hoagland? This cat has had the foil cap twisted on a bit too tightly for many years now.

Mr. Hoaxland will show you pictures of buildings, fossils, old stoves and anything else you can imagine being on Mars.

This is his site:

www.enterprisemission.com

And here is a good specific example of his sickness:

Enjoy.

I've heard of this guy. Isn't he the one who claims NASA, or somebody, is trying to cover up the alien bases on the moon or something?
