Hey guys, it has been some time since I could actually take part in discussion over here. I had to sell my Large 21 PJ last year to fund my wifes Mothers Day gift. This year I sold my SNG which was a great configuration and put that into her wedding band to replace what she has, to match her engagement ring.

Long story short, our anniversary is Saturday and she was happy to give me the OK to pick this puppy out. It arrived today, which is fine because I jumped the gun and pulled her little ring box out of the night stand yesterday evening and surprised her. So so happy. She has nice Diamond and blue gems alternating in white gold, made by a local guy. So I got a blue stone as well.

Basically as far as I remember. I have only purchased one new knife from a website in the past 4 years and that was a buck knife. Otherwise every other high end knife was purchased on here from you guys all to save money of course. The most I ever payed was 400$. And I used every one of them.
This is certainly the most we have ever spent, but the good news is It will be my permanent EDC. And more so since it came with her permission lol.

Here are some photos on top of the new vest that she picked me up for A-day.
Enjoy these picture because besides a fixed blade, this is my only folder and it will age with use. I think that will make it look better and better as well.
I will continue to update the thread occasionally with use pictures from home and work and just showing how it matures.
This one is a Large Silver Contrast CGG with a Blue Star Sapphire.

-The cool thing is in the light you can actually see that star and it looks like a hologram. Look closely and you will see what I mean, it moves with the light.
-Perfect centering
-Perfect lock up and buttah smooth

This thing has been sitting new in a shop for a while so the first thing I did was take her apart and do my thing and I am in love. It glided through some strawberries and pears for the kiddos. Awesome food prep knife as well.
Happy Anniversary Honey. We can and will make it through anything.

Feel free to post pics of your 21 with inset stones , or without. :D
Matt

Congrats buddy! Happy for you. That's one great looking blade. Also very nice how much meaning is behind it with the blue stone that matches her ring. Can't wait to see what it looks like with use.

Ughhhhhhhhh. If you say so.
No stone but,

I really like the graphic on yours, and I rarely see graphics that appeal to me. It's nice and simple, and in my opinion you can't beat the blasted slabs graphics or not.

And yes there is a smiley face on my sebenza:D I couldn't afford a new unique so I made one.

Thanks Mark, talk to you tomorrow.

Kidcongo. Thanks for dropping by, as if your not hanging in the area anyway.;) I appreciate all the photos and knowledge you share around here. This thing is really special to me. I never thought I would be able to pick one I really want. I think I looked at over 100 CGG models and this was in the top three. Then I decided.

SSS, your knife is gorgeous as well. Love the character. This time last year I had my plane Jane too and I was getting pumped for the ECCKS. That is what I took with me.

Congrats on your anniversary and on the beautiful knife. Sounds like you and your wife have a good thing. Keep it up.

Thanks bro. It has not been the easiest road, but the high times are all worth it. Eventually all the hard work will pay off and we will find some time for us again.
I really look forward to taking this puppy camping late this spring, the state forest Bear Mountain is across the street. We plan on paying 50$ for a two bed hut for a weekend with my girls.
It has power as well to keep the ladies comfortable and happy but in my middle of no where to really have some fun and get back to nature.

I love your knife, looked at it longingly when it was for sale but didn't pull the trigger, glad it found a loving home. Just in case this detail hasn't hit you, I love that the presentation (unique) side is blasted.
Most uniques are polished. Blasted, silver highlights with that sapphire is top shelf, IMHO. Never sell it, always carry it.

Thanks! Boy am I happy you did not pick it up LOL.
Yeah the fact that it is blasted yet still has the rest of the work is totally what grabbed me. I love the satin blade with tumbled top as well. But you hit the nail on the head. This puppy is not going any where. The only thing by its side will be a small neck knife and a bushcraft fixed blade. Which I actually still need to find.

My friend Gary who does leather work lives about 30 minutes from me. I found him on here actually. He is making a deep carry tip up sheath with leather style tec lock for vertical or horizontal carry and grommets if you call them that for making it into a neck sheath or pack carry.
Should have some pics of that thing next week.

Congrats to your anniversary!
A very nice knife if I might add.
It is very interesting to see it from a different angle. Not that the pictures of the dealer are bad - yours looks alife.
If you happen to take it apart again, could you do an inside shot? TIA

I can do that for you, not a problem at all. It also has B13 as the date code. My lucky number, birthday and my last initial. Its like an old friend. Boy, am I a geek!
Tomorrow I will be in the wilderness, I will have to get some nature pics for that other thread.

That is a good looking unique for sure! Actually...that star saphire is awesome!

Congrats and welcome back!!

Simply beautiful!!!!
Have you used it yet or just photographed it?????

Haha, tell me about it brother. Have to brush up on my photo skills. First time in my life I took a camera to work and I know that our community asks for one thing and that is photos.
It has the benefit of being my only knife, so oh yeah. Between the kitchen, work and automotive.
Yesterday was food day, made some salads. Lots of tomato slicing, cucumbers and the rest of the goodies. Then I made a chicken stir fry ignoring my wifes japenese kitchen cutlery.
Today was fun because I have a bunch of wiring to cut and strip to repair yet another light, the freaking license plate light on my ever so deteriorating jeep.
I am so please to have gone from thicker bladed knives to this. The cutting ability is top notch.
Picks in use are in order!:p
