Nicely done :)
On knifedogs i saw a thread by Erin Burke about "light painting" photo technique, very nice pictures outcome (he made a kukhri), and i will try.....the reflection on the steel makes it difficult to catch the overall view of knives (i'm very bad at taking pictures LOL)

Thanks Stabber, and thank you for that reference, Stezann. I saw that very thread, and I need to review that more. Photographing knives (catching the steel just right) is a chore for me too.

The knife is awesome. Really feels, good in hand.
These photos do not do this knife justice IMHO.

Thanks Dozier. Glad you're liking it! I'm lovin the design. I really liked your idea of having the edge come to a terminal point. It looks good and makes it easier to sharpen. On knives that have traditional ricassos (ricassi?), I have to slow down in my sharpening in order not to ding up the plunge grind down towards the edge, close to where a sharpening choil would be. This design totally negates having to worry about messing up a nice square plunge during sharpening.

i agree, that's what i do with my kitchen knives, since they are the ones that see sharpening stones more frequently.
Of course if the stone's corners are well dressed it's not impossible to sharpen near the plunges, but it is indeed something to slow down near to.
