For all those interested here are the results after a week at work. My gloves are always smeared with a mix of paint, oil, grease, WD40, lock-tight and orange cleaner which turns into a black sludge. The knife was cleaned nightly with undiluted Orange Zep. I also used Eezox, alcohol and a household orange cleaner a few times. The only thing that leached out any dye was the alcohol and household orange (brand unknown). More so with the alcohol. Here are the before and after pics.

The fading and slight scratches are due to my mistake of using scotchbrite on the second night to clean it. Lesson learned, dyed G10 does not like scotchbrite. Other side.

The fading on this side is also due to the scotchbrite. It does seem the dye is really only on the surface and not impregnated into the G10 as evidenced by the fading due to the scotchbrite use. However the dye did hold up very well to various petroleum and synthetic types of oil and grease. The rubbing alcohol was the only thing that removed surface dye easily. I am going to redye the scales today and EDC the Tyrade as normal as it seems that it will hold up very well. As for the performance of the knife, it was flawless.
