Hi,

First, I am sorry if this has already been discussed (I could not find a thread on it when I searched). I am wondering is there going to be a blue Yojimbo 2 as a regular offering, or just the black?

I really want the knife and I just want to know if what I am hoping for (a blue one) will happen, or if I should just snag a black one?

Thanks for your time and a BIG thanks to Sal and Spyderco for bringing back the Yojimbo!

i know that the black ones are limited as it is since people are jumping on them. also, its not uber expensive for that level of knife. i say get the black one and continue hoping for a blue one. i personally have not heard of any other sprints of that model.

I want one so bad but don't have the $ right know :-( I say pick one up in black so you don't miss out on the knife all together.

Given its popularity I'd been surprised if there werent some sprints down the road... so to speak. :D

Good advice IMHO. The blue knives tend to get a mixed reception. A small number of buyers is usually very eager, but a much larger number don't like blue and don't buy blue knives. I'd love to see a blue Yo2 but I am not going to hold my breath waiting for it.

Thanks for the responses guys! Looks like I will snag a black one, they are a great deal!

I would certainly be on board for a blue Yojimbo! Hopefully a sprint with a steel other than s30v though.

I was lucky enough to get a black one and would not be turned off by a blue scaled one.

Doubt it will ever happen but would definitely go nicely with the blue pm2. If the steels matched it'd be even better.

The first thing that came to my mind when I knew the Yojimbo 2 was even being produced was that they should do a peel-ply carbon fiber with S90V or at least some type of colored G10 and a fancy steel. Perhaps even a full-flat ground blade. I'd love to see what that blade looked like with a flat grind.

Like others have said, get the black one at least, you won't regret it.
