Blue ZDP stretch value

Does anyone know what the value of a used but in good condition Blue ZDP stretch would be?

Well ... Google says new the C90PBLE was $91~$125 online.

Since it's discontinued, it's probably at least that but really it's whatever someone is willing to pay for it.
 
The blue FRN/ZDP-189 Stretch wasn't a Sprint Run with a clearly defined limit but there were probably only a couple production runs of them before Spyderco decided to switch to foliage green for consistency with their other ZDP-189 offerings. The way I see it, that makes it "rare" enough so that a "LNIB" would definitely fetch a premium from collectors interested in owning all the variants of the Stretch and a probably lesser premium from speculators willing to bet it will become even more valuable over time. OTOH, since used knives are generally of little or no interest to collectors, a used blue one would only be worth more than a green one in equal condition to someone who wanted a ZDP-189 FRN Stretch as a user and favored blue over green enough to pay extra for it. Not sure how many folks, if any, fall into that category.

You mean BRG for ZDP-189, don't you? Foliage green on the Stretch I haven't seen yet, maybe I missed it.
 
Yeah, British Racing green, no foliage...

I just saw one of these in blue go on the bay for a hefty chunk of change...

Yep, you're right. Not a huge fan of either, but I don't know how I mistook a moderately unattractive shade of green for one with a terminal case of the fuglies. :o
 
on a large auction site I see they have sold from as low as $150 (but that was a 'buy it now' sale that apparently was a good deal) to as high as $222.

Deacon, I couldn't help but laugh a bit. I do enjoy the blue Stretch in ZDP. The color seems to blend well with denim pants. The BRG is alright, (I own a Delica and Endura, both ZDP). :)
 
The blue stretch is one of my most carried spyderco models. I like the color. Russ

I've had and sold a bunch of Stretch models. A bit too light for me; not at all fond of the slippery FRN. Give me the new G Bradley 2 in G10 with M4 and I'll be happy. The original G Bradley is great, but a bit too large and heavy for my casual needs.
