Blued with gold inlay folder

This is one of the knives I took to Reno.

It is my model FB3 folder in nitre blued ladder damascus, nitre blued mild steel handle and LOTS of 22k gold inlay. The bale on the rear is the lock release. It works like a lockback, but instead of using a thumb recess, I use the bale.

It measures 3 3/4" closed with a 3 1/8" blade.

I have started designing folders with a droped choil. I like the look as it looks more like a forged blade should IMHO.

Let me know what you think.

I will post a couple more later

Here is a shot of the folder closed, with better detail on the inlays. BTW, I did all the work on the folder. Photo credit goes to Knifeart.com

Exactly!

That is a great blade shape, really fantastic work on the handles, BRAVO! :D

That's a beauty Bailey. I like the dropped choil - and everything else - on this knife. :D

Cheers,

Roger

Awesome knife Bailey. Do you have list or pictures of all the different models that you make? I'd really like to see somre more stuff.

Wow! I just saw that one on the dealer site and was really impressed. Very nice lines and color. Very impressive work.

Well, here's another of Bailey's "Folding Bowies" since you asked for pictures of others.

By the way, the guy that owns this one is particularly charming and attractive... :)

So it's not yours then? :p

I think the dropped edge looks fabulous. In fact, both the pictured knives are outstanding.

I think I looked a little like dylan's avatar for a minute when I clicked on that attachment. I looked over the knife, then stopped and looked it up and down again, and then looked it over a few more times; each time my eyes found something new to notice and admire. That is one striking folder Mr. Bradshaw, my hat is off to you.

Megalo, I drooled over that one when it was at knife art, I had no idea you bought it. I also just checked you webpage, my god you have a nice collection, and some pretty sweet sharks teeth too

I don't own any of Bailey's knives YET, but I do have one of these on order:

I swear, I can hardly sit still waiting for it.
