Blues, fewpop and Case 61051LSSP

Blues got a little 1970's Case jigged wood lockback at Blade and posted a picture (top picture). fewpop then posted a picture of the one he has (middle picture).
Well I figured if Blues has one and fewpop has one then that is good enough for me and I must get one too. So I did :D (bottom picture)

Well that is awfully nice of you, Jim. I don’t think I could pick out of another guy’s collection on the off chance that I might pick your favorite one.

I saw Elliott’s at Blade and they’re cool knives.
 
And I (once again) have RandyW to thank for offering to sell me the one that he had while at the Show.

I would not have said it if I did not mean it. The stag one is a reworked one and has little snap, but does lock up well. Three dots or 4 makes no difference to me, and the other two with sharper points are near enough alike, I will miss neither. So take your pick, send me PM with shipping address. Friends helping friends. Is this not what this forum is about?

I have actually been looking for one of these, again it is sad I sold Case knives for nearly 30 years and ended up owning so very few myself. I was all about the Al-Mars and such back then. At any rate while looking for one of these I found this instead....a no bolster Shadow Bone Baby Butterbean (say that 10 times fast) and I just couldn't resist...it is just too cute. As for a "51" pattern lockback...my search goes on...

That little pup has not had any loving since it was made, except for the milotec I put on tang and a little lemon oil on handles, it really needs a good reconditioning.
Speaking of hooking up, Thanks for what you did for me. I owe you BIG time.:)
