Hi brothers, it's good to be missed, and rest assured the feeling is mutual.
I've been laying a bit low of late due to the incident (I, like so many that grew up in NY have lots of family and friends who have forever been impacted by this horror)and haven't had it in me to make my normal irreverent posts to the ongoing saga etc.
As far as my situation goes, it appears that I'm soon to be reassigned back to the arms smuggling/anti-terrorism group that I left last year after four years in place. (That's a good thing and I welcome it.)
I've volunteered to go up to NY to help in whatever capacity, but it seems that at the moment they don't have need of the extra bodies and I can see why.
Starting in the next day or so it looks like I'll be working on helping to reduce the risk of terrorist incidents at Miami Int'l Airport as part of a multi-jurisdictional task force. This is not so much investigative but a means of prevention and a show of force. It needs to be done so I don't mind pitching in. Resources are spread pretty thin as you can imagine in the wake of ongoing circumstances.
Thanks for thinking of me guys. It's an honor and you guys are always in my thoughts.
