shotgun blues
Every night I go to sleep
The blues fall down like rain
Every night I go to sleep
The blues fall down like rain
Taking pills, cheap whiskey
Just to try to ease the pain

Well it's hard to gamble
When you lose every bet
Hard to save money
When you're twenty years in debt
The blues is falling
Falling down on me like rain

I made some mistakes
Had some bad breaks
Now my mind don't work
And my whole body aches
The blues is falling
Falling down on me like rain
My life is like water
Just swirling down the drain

Well I tried standin' up
I keep on falling down
Tried standing up
Keep on fallin' down
Everywhere I go
The blues is all around

Now that is deep bro! You write that? Brings back memories of the Blues club I frequented back in college.....ah memories

The sun sets before I leave work
Raises after I get a foot
Dreary and dark, cold and shakin
Darkness penetrates my bones

Draggin' on, with prayer for sun
Clouds surrounding the mistress of fun
Dullness extends the edge of the blade
Darkness penetrates my bones

Postal workers pass by with no joy
No letters or offerings from those who care
Work drags on, sucking life from my soul
Darkness decays my bones

Will has left with self control
Brain is mush, as the drivers slow
Ice abound with no remorse
Darkness dampens this young mans voice

Alas friends arrive with infi in hand
Postal workers bring a brown box of joy
Work day ends and the air is warm
Darkness stomped by somoa cookies

Wooooooooooooooooooooo Hooooooooooooooooooo

That sucked, but hey... what were you expecting? LMAO :D

Sounds like a hoot! I'll have to hum along from the PNW, though :(

Here we go again... :footinmou

Looking back at the times of joy spent with her
Long and cold nights, together we went burrrrrr
Sleek, sharp... Her lines were perfect and center
I handled and drooled all over her throughout winter
Bragged on and shown to all others in a display of love
Her groovy micarta slabs rested in my cold hand like a glove

Alas the day came when the calling had finally shown
It was time for her to leave, she had to be flown
Carefully wrapping her for the long and ending trip
I turned my head so she couldn't see my tears drip
I taped the box up tight and double checked the label
Off she went amidst the storm, off into another fable

LMAO... Yeah, I could sell something like this...

Static charged, the expectations running high
Waiting on the postman, I thought I would die
Where was my package, when would it arrive
Was the postal service even still alive?
21 yrs after the day of my birth was here
I was eager and awaiting for signs of cheer

Bryan was yelled from the back of the shop
Flying past customers, leaping over a mop
Clenching the package, I let out a scream
My uncle was finally here, was it a dream?
I let him free, and showed him to all in sight
He got the Darth treatment that very night

Okay... I'm gonna quit before someone gets sick LMAO :D :barf:
